      You can start as a freight broker on your own or as a freight agent working under a licensed broker. Your call but its easier and cheaper to start as an agent.

      Depends. You can hire hourly plus commission or straight commission only. Hourly might be $10-$15 hour plus a small commission based upon profit like 1-5% or straight commission which might be 25-%50% depending upon if they are only doing sales or are also moving the freight more like an agent.
